Brinkman International Group, Inc. is the parent of Brinkman Products, Inc. (Davenport and CJWinter), Brinkman Precision, Inc. — now incorporating Brinkman Defense — and Gates Albert, Inc. Davenport and CJWinter manufacture proprietary product lines, including the Model B and Hybrid screw machines, cold root rolling systems, thread rolling attachments, and specialty dies, while Brinkman Precision and Gates Albert are integrated contract machining operations carrying ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949 registrations.

Davenport Machine

Founded in 1894, Davenport Machine (a division of Brinkman Products, Inc.) is a U.S.-based OEM specializing in the manufacture of multi-spindle automatic screw machines. Known for producing high-volume turned parts under 1 inch in diameter, Davenport’s legacy Model B remains a global workhorse recognized for its speed, reliability, and precision.

Today, Davenport’s product line includes the Davenport Hybrid, combining traditional mechanical speed with CNC precision machining capabilities. The Hybrid’s advanced design supports complex operations such as CNC profiling, boring, threading, and milling — minimizing secondary operations while improving part tolerances and throughput.

Davenport also supplies a full range of OEM-certified attachments, tooling, and replacement parts, ensuring long-term machine performance and precision for U.S. and global manufacturers. Paired with exceptional training and support programs, Davenport is committed to being a trusted solutions partner.

CJWinter

Established in 1956, CJWinter (a division of Brinkman Products, Inc.) is a global leader in manufacturing precision thread rolling dies and attachments. It produces replacement rolls for all major attachment platforms, cylindrical thread rolling machines, and cold root rolling systems — all engineered and manufactured in Rochester, NY.

Its tooling integrates seamlessly with multi-spindle screw machines, rotary transfer machines, CNC lathes and mills, Swiss-type machines, and dedicated thread rolling machines. Capabilities include standard and specialty thread forms, splines, and a wide range of knurl geometries, supported by in-house form design, advanced heat treating, and application-specific coatings.

CJWinter’s Cold Root Rolling Tools are trusted throughout the oil and gas industry for increasing fatigue resistance and service life of rotary shouldered threaded connections. The systems meet or exceed ANSI/API 7.2 and ISO 10424-2 standards and are qualified to DS-1 and NS-1 specifications — ensuring compliance with critical drilling applications across North America and internationally.

Brinkman Precision

Brinkman Precision, Inc. is a specialized manufacturer of aerospace fuel nozzles, valves, sleeves, spools, and poppets, as well as complex, high-performance liquid and gas manifolds and housings — principally for space-based, aerospace, and defense applications. From complex machining of single components to complete assemblies, Brinkman Precision’s commitment to quality and engineering support are the keys to its success.

Core competencies include CNC grinding, crush grinding, match grinding, milling, turning, TIG welding, palletized 5-axis milling, automated deburring and cleaning, heat treating, and vacuum brazing. In addition to AS9100 and ISO 9001, Brinkman Precision holds Nadcap certification for several specialty processes.

Brinkman Defense, the group’s defense-focused machining operation, is being consolidated into Brinkman Precision — bringing defense and aerospace work together under one AS9100- and Nadcap-certified operation.
