Gates Albert has over eighty Davenport and New Britain multi-spindle screw machines to
meet your needs. These machines are capable of turning bar stock up to 1
3/8" round, 1 1/8" hex and 9/16" square. Although most of our
production orders are for high-volume quantities, we also have the capacity to
run smaller volumes and prototype lots.
Manned by skilled machinists and backed by highly-qualified engineers, our
five-spindle Davenport automatic screw machines are able
to produce parts in a single operation that would require multiple steps if
produced on other, more expensive, equipment. Drilling, tapping, forming,
threading, knurling, and deburring are quickly and accurately accomplished.
A fully-equipped secondary operation and assembly department is available to
complete even the most complex parts.
At Gates Albert we encourage you to consult with our engineering staff before
the design of your part is finalized. Many times, our experience will help to
determine a more economical design. Even on a part that is currently being
produced, we can offer cost saving suggestions.
Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) is used for laying out tooling and machine
operations so we can quickly respond to any required changes. Gates Albert also
has the ability to receive customer drawings electronically.
